PTU- Skullsz-N-Stripez

*Click for bigger

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP
and was written using PSP XI, tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit is the awesome kit- SkullzNStripez from Tasha at Tasha's Playground
This is a pay to use kit & you can find it here.
Mask of choice. I used gemsmask-94 from Gems Taggin' Scraps.
Tube of choice. I  am using the lovely artwork of Verymany,
named Diana. You can find this & many other Verymany tubes at Pics for Design
Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.
Filters: Eye Candy 4000 Bevel Boss (optional for the frame)
Xero- Radiance
Xero- Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (name only)
Font: Sweetheart Script
Let's do this! =)

Save your progress often.;)
Drop shadow used in this tutorial is 1 4 40 4.

Open up a new image, sized 650 x 650 px.
Copy & paste Paper 14 onto your canvas.
Apply your mask of choice & merge group.

Copy & paste Frame 4. Resize 80%.

** This next step is optional
(Since my tube has black hair, I changed my frame a bit.)
Copy & paste paper 4 over your frame.
Rotate 9 left, then resize it 70%.
On your frame layer: Selections- select all- float- defloat & invert.
On your paper layer hit delete on your keyboard.
Select none & delete the original frame layer.
On the 'paper' frame you just made, apply Eye Candy 4000 Bevel Boss.
Here's my screenshot with the two areas I adjusted (Basic & Lighting):
After you've finished making your frame, or if you've skipped that part,
take your magic wand & click inside the frame.
Modify & expand 4. Invert.
Copy & paste paper 15 & resize it 70%.
Hit delete. Keep selected & then copy & paste your closeup.
Hit delete again. Select none.
Drag your paper & closeup under your frame in the layers palette.
Crop your tag to canvas. (surround the whole tag when cropping)
This eliminates those nasty 'phantom shadows' on the edges of your tag.;)

On your closeup, apply Xero: Radiance:
I also added blinds with these settings:
Add a drop shadow to your frame.

Now add your main tube.
Apply Xero: Porcelain at these settings:
 and add your drop shadow.

Now, we'll add some elements. For each that I resized,
I sharpened & added a drop shadow to them.

bow- resize 20% & rotate 20 right. Place in top right corner.
bear- I left him 'as is' & placed it just off center to the left.
boot-mirror & duplicate. Place to the left & position one just a bit down & to the left from the other.
flair 1- resize 45%. Place in the top left corner of the frame.
hat- resize 55%. Rotate 15 right & place it over the tip of the boots.
drink2- resize 47%. Place over to the left of the boots.
sparkle2- resize 40%. Place to just around your main tube.
Erase some of it to make it appear the sparkles are swirling around her arm.
Add any other elements if you choose.

Crop &/ or resize your tag to your own liking.
Now add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name. Duplicate this name layer.
On bottom layer, add a thin gradient glow at 3:
Then give it a little sparkle by adding some noise- Uniform/ Monochrome/ 75%.
And give this layer a drop shadow.

Merge your layers visible, save as a PNG & you're finished.=)
I hope you enjoyed trying this tutorial.
I'd love to see your results. =)
