FTU- Retro Glam

*Click for bigger

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP
and was written using PSP XI, tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: Leah's portion of the FTU Glamorous collab.
You can get this at Amy & Leah's Gimptastic Tuts.
* Leave some love when downloading the kit. ;)
Tube: I'm using the gorgeous artwork of Keith Garvey- Retro.
You can get this tube at PTE.
Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.
Mask: of choice

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Xero- Porcelain
Eye Candy 5 Impact- Perspective Shadow.
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Font: Connetable

Drop shadow used in this tutorial is 2 2 60 4, black.

Let's do this! =)
Save your progress often.;)

Open a new canvas 650 X 650 px.
Copy & paste paper 7.
Apply mask of choice & merge group.
Resize about 85%.

Next, copy & paste frame 2. Resize 80%.
With your magic wand, click inside the frame.
Modify & expand by 2. Invert. Copy & paste paper 4.
Hit delete. Keep selected & add your tube.
Position it so it looks like she's crawling out of the frame.
Use your eraser to remove the excess of her lower body.
Select none. Drag your paper below your frame in the palette.
Duplicate your frame so you have one above your tube & one below.
On the top frame, erase parts that cover that top part of her body.
Add a drop shadow to the bottom frame.

On your tube, apply Xero- Radiance at these settings:
Then apply Xero- Porcelain:
Finally, add your drop shadow.

Now we'll add a few elements:
First, add the pearls & resize 80%.
Position at the bottom of the frame.
Drag below the tube in layers palette.
Sharpen & add a drop shadow.

Flower 1- Resize 40%. Duplicate twice so you have 3.
Place them on the lower left of the frame.
Arrange them like my example.
On the two outer flowers, change the colour
using your manual colour correction tool.
Add a drop shadow to each.

Ring- Resize 25% & flip. Sharpen.
Drag this under the flowers in the layers palette.
Position it so its sticking out from the flowers.
Add a drop shadow.

Heart charm- Resize 55%. Desaturate the colour.
Sharpen. Place on the top left of the frame.
Add a drop shadow.

butterfly 1- Resize 35%. Duplicate.
Resize the top one an addition 70%.
Rotate 30 left & sharpen. Place in the top left above the frame.
On the bigger butterfly, rotate 19 right & sharpen.
Give them both a perspective shadow at these settings:
Or you can give them both a drop shadow at these settings
 with your program's default shadow effects: 6 4 50 8.
(I did a perspective shadow on one of them
& the settings I have above for you on the other.;))

Next, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next, add your name. Duplicate it.
One the bottom one, add a gradient glow:
Then add some noise- Random/ Monochrome/ 80%.
Then add your drop shadow.

Finally, merge visible & save as a PNG & you're finished.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
I'd love to see any of your results. =)
