FTU- Spring Beauty

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP
and was written using PSP XI, tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: Is a lovely FTU kit by the always lovely Tasha
which you can find on the Creative Misifits blog, here.
Tube: I'm using the pretty, pretty artwork of Ellie Milk, named Spring. 
This was given out by Pics For Design last month as a free gift/ bonus.
Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased the tube.
Template: cm_template_spring_biene which can also be found 
at the Creative Misfits blog, here.
Mask: of choice.

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Eye Candy 4000 HSB Noise
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow 
Font: Sloop Script Two
Drop shadow used in this tutorial is 1 1 45 3, black.
Save your progress often.;)

Let's do this! =)

Open up the template. Duplicate it & close original. 
Delete the credit layer.

Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:
Copy & paste paper 8. Apply mask of choice & merge group.
Resize, if needed.

Next, on the pink rectangle, Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper9, resized 70%.
Hit delete & select none. Add a drop shadow.

circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 1, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. Add a drop shadow.

pink circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 5, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. 

sm circles- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 2.
Hit delete & select none. Crop to canvas.
Apply a bevel to make the circles 'puffy':
Next, add a medium gradient glow, set at 3, white:
Then give it a drop shadow.

For the word 'spring' (on the circles)- Select all- float. 
Defloat & add a new layer.
Flood fill with a foreground/ background gradient: 
foreground- #a2c0e2 & background- #569bd2, 
Linear, Angle- 36, Repeats- 3. Select none. 
Duplicate. On the bottom layer, add the same gradient glow as the circles.
Then add some noise- Uniform/ Monochrome/ 75% & add a drop shadow.
On the top layer, add a bevel at the same settings as the circles.
Delete the original word art layer.

sm hearts- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 4, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. Crop to canvas. 
Add a gradient glow at the same settings & then add your drop shadow.

wording spring- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 3, resized 70%.
Hit delete & select none. Add a fat gradient glow, set at 3 in blue:
Then add your drop shadow.

Next, copy & paste your tube.
Resize about 55%. Apply Xero: Radiance at these settings:
Add your drop shadow & drag this layer below your 
spring word art layer in the layers palette.

Now it's time for some elements.
Copy & paste the bow. Resize 55%.
Rotate left 25 & position in the top left corner.
Sharpen & add a drop shadow.
Drag this layer below your tube layer in the layers palette.

Copy & paste the flowerbranch. 
Position it about in the middle of the puffy circles.
Duplicate & drag one of the layers down below 
the puffy circles in the layers palette. 
Now, with your eraser, carefully erase all the branch 
on the top flowerbranch layer, only keeping the flowers on top.
Add a drop shadow on your bottom branch layer that's below the puffy circles.
Then, add a drop shadow on your top layer, 
making sure the box to put the shadow on a new layer is ticked.
Then erase all your excess shadow, except the flower blossoms that are on the puffy circles.

Next, copy & paste the flowers.
Drag this layer below the puffy circles & position at the lower right.
Add a drop shadow, make sure you untick the shadow on new layer box.;)

Back at the top in your layers palette, add the bird.
Resize 45% & sharpen. Position him right on top of the 'S'.
Duplicate. Resize this 2nd one 80%.
Mirror & position him on the 'G'.
Add Xero-Radiance to this bird at these settings:
Add a drop shadow to both birds. 

Next, add the branch. Rotate 90 left.
Place this at the bottom of the Spring wordart.
Add a drop shadow.

Flower2- resize 50% & sharpen.
Place at the bottom left of the tag. 
Duplicate & move the other one to right in between the 'R' & 'I'.
Add a drop shadow to both.

Now, add the umbrella. Resize 50%. 
Rotate 35 right & postion in the center, like in my example.
Sharpen & add a drop shadow.

Now add the butterfly. Resize 40%.
Rotate 25 right & postion near the top right, above the flower blossom.
Sharpen & add a drop shadow: 6 2 45 6 7. Repeat the drop shadow.

Next, copy & paste the sparkle.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next, add your name in white.
Duplicate. On the bottom layer, add a gradient glow set at 3:
Next, add HSB noise at default settings.
Then add a drop shadow: 1 1 45 3.

Finally, delete the white background layer at the bottom &
merge visible & save as a .PNG & you're finished.
