FTU- Irish Princess

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X2, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: I'm using a FTU kit from Pink's Poetic Scraps named 
Mad As A March Hare. You can find this kit, here.

Tube: I'm using the artwork of Zlata M.

Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased the tube.

Template: KanDee-stpats-2013_6 template

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Eye Candy 4000- Chrome
Eye Candy 4000- HSB Noise
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow 

Font: Dungeon

Drop shadow: 2 2 40 4, black.
Save your progress often.;)

Let's do this! =)

Open up the template. Duplicate it & close original. 
Delete the credit layer at the top.
Resize so the temp. is 650 px. wide.

Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

splatter- use your manual color correction 
tool to change the colour.

green bar- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert. 
Delete this layer & paste PPS_P4, resized 25%.
Hit delete & select none. 

orange circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert. 
Delete this layer & paste PPS_P8, resized 15%.
Position it so the circles are in the selection.
Hit delete & select none. 
Crop to canvas. Drop shadow.

yellow circle- select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste PPS_P8, resized 15%. 
Position it so the circles are in the selection.
Hit delete & select none. 

green oval- add a drop shadow.

yellow square- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & PPS_P3, resized 15%.
Hit delete. Select none. 

frame 3- add some noise- 
Uniform/ Monochrome/ 40%.
Then add a drop shadow.

Open up PPS_P7. Duplicate & close the original.
Resize the copy so its 600 X 600 px.
Right- click in the layers palette & promote background to layer.
Then rotate 17 left- all layers ticked.
orange square- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste the rotated paper, resized 70%.
Hit delete. Select none. 

frame 2- add noise. Use the same settings as before. 
Drop shadow.

yellow strip- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste PPS_P1, resized 15%.
Hit delete. Select none. 

frame 1- add noise. Use the same settings as before. 
Drop shadow.

green circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste PPS_P5, resized 15%.
Hit delete. Keep selected & add your tube or closeup.
Resize, if needed. Hit delete & select none.
Crop to canvas.
On your tube, apply Xero- Radiance:
Move the large dotted circle below 
your closeup in layers palette.

heart crown- Apply Eye Candy 4000- Chrome 
with the default shiny penny settings.  
Drop shadow.

word art back- use your manual color correction to
change to colour of choice. 
Then apply Eye Candy 4000- HSB Noise at default settings.
Add a drop shadow.

word art- leave as is.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one I added, I sharpened & added 
a drop shadow to, unless specified otherwise.

PPS_March Buddies- 12%. Place to the right of the tag.

PPS_Pot O Clover- 16%. Place on the left.
Move below the word art layers.

PPS_HorseShoe- 20%. Rotate 12 left.
(Make sure you have the all layers un-ticked.)
Place in the top right.

PPS_Flower 2- 20%. Rotate 17 right.
Place with the horseshoe. Move below in layers palette.

PPS_Hat- 10%. Rotate 7 left.
Move over to the left, by the pot.

PPS_Pipe- Mirror. 
Resize 15 & place by the hat & pot.

PPS_Flower 1- 20%. Rotate 17 right. 

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name on the ribbon of the horseshoe.
(You may have to rotate it slightly.)
Duplicate it. 
One the bottom one, add a gradient glow:
Then apply HSB noise to this layer.
Don't add a drop shadow.

Finally, delete the white background, merge visible, 
save as a PNG & enjoy. =)
