* Click for bigger

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X2,
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: I'm using a FTU kit from
Tasha's Playground named Spring Fling.
You can find this kit, here.
Leave her some lovin' when snaggin' this fab kit.;)

Tube: I'm using the artwork of Ellie Milk.
This was given out last Spring
as a bonus from Pics For Design.
You can find more of this artwork at Pics For Design.
Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.

Template: TTFB-ThinkingOfSpringTemplate1
from Rissa's Designs. Find the templates here.

Let's do this! =)

Open up the template. Duplicate it & close original.
Resize the template so it's 600 X 600 px.
Delete the credit layer at the top.
Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

On the empty background layer,
flood fill with #fec26a or colour of choice.
Apply your mask of choice & merge group.

Merge 2 down onto 1.
Then, Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper3.
Hit delete & select none.
Crop to canvas. Drop shadow.

3- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper4, resized 60%.

Crop to canvas. Drop shadow.

4- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.

5- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper1, resized 70%.
Hit delete & keep selected.
Add your tube or closeup, resizing 80% (if needed).
Hit delete & select none.
Crop to canvas & add a drop shadow to the paper layer.
On your closeup, apply Xero- Ultraviolet to soften the colour:
Then add your drop shadow.

6- use your manual color correction
to change the colour (if desired).
Then add a gradient glow in your colour of choice:
Then add a drop shadow.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one I added, I sharpened & added
a drop shadow to, unless specified otherwise.

tree1- 80%.
Place on the right of the tag.
Move below the word art layer.

mushroom- 35%. Duplicate & resize
the 2nd one another 80%.
Place with the tree.

flower3- 55%. Duplicate.
Resize the other 2 another 75%.
Position in the top left, like my example.

bow- 70%. Place on the left,
below the flowers in your canvas.

chickpop- 55%. Position over on the left.
Move below the word art in layers palette.

lollipop2- 50%. Rotate 12 right.
Place with the chickpop.

lollipop1- 45%. Rotate 10 left.
Place with the other two lollipops.

ladybug- 40%.
Duplicate & mirror the 2nd one.
Place in opposite sides at the bottom.

birdhouse- 45%. Place in the tree.

leaf- 45%. Place in the top right.

clip- 45%. Rotate 15 right.
Place in the top right of tag.
Then, using your lasso tool, draw a selection
around the middle part, like my example:
Hit delete & select none.
Add a drop shadow on a new layer.
With your eraser at a size of 10 & carefully remove the excess
shadow in the center that overlaps, if needed.

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name. Then add a gradient glow:
And a drop shadow.

Finally, merge visible, save as a PNG & enjoy. =)

I also have another tag here for Rissa:

I hope you enjoy trying this tutorial.
I'd love to see your results. =)
