PTU- Sweet Serenity

*Click for bigger

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X2,
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: I'm using a gorgeous PTU kit from
Tasha's Playground named Serenity.
You can find the information on where to find this kit, here.

Tube: I'm using the artwork of Verymany.
You can find more of this artwork at Pics For Design.
Do not use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.

Mask: DBV Mask 14 from Vaybs
You can find this beautiful mask, here.
*Leave some love when grabbing the mask set. ;)

Supplies: (optional) from me, here.
* Please read the TOU carefully in the zip.;)

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Eye Candy 5 Impact- Gradient Glow
Eye Candy 4000- HSB Noise

Font: Sloop Script Two

Drop shadow: -2 2 50 4, black
Save your progress often.;)

Let's do this! =)

Open a new canvas 650 X 650 px.
Copy & paste paper5.
Apply your mask & merge group.
Duplicate.

Next copy & paste frame2.
Use your magic wand to click inside the frame.
Modify- expand by 4. Invert.
Paste paper7, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none.
Add a drop shadow to the frame.

Now, add your main tube. Resize about 35%.
Apply Xero- Radiance at these settings:
Finally, add a drop shadow to your tube.

Now we'll add some elements.
For each one I added, I sharpened & added
a drop shadow to, unless specified otherwise.

boat- 35%.
Place this in the frame on the water.

tree2- 85%.
Mirror & place on the left.

Now for the grass, there's 2 ways to do this.
Option 1:
grass3- 35%. Duplicate 10 times for a total of 11.
Position these across the width of the tag.
Close all layers except the grass layers & then
merge these layers visible. Re-open all your other layers.
Move this grass layer below your tube in layers palette.

Option 2:
Open my merged grass from my supplies
& paste in your canvas. Move below the tube
in layers palette. No drop shadow.

cattail1- 50%. Place in the grass.
Duplicate twice.
Scatter the others in the grass.

rock2- 33%.
Place on the left, in front of the grass.

flower3- 40%. Duplicate twice.
Place these in the grass like my example.

log- 60%. Place under your tube.

rock- 25%. Place in front of the log, to the right.

wolf2- 60%. Place off to the left a bit.

flower5- 35%. Duplicate twice.
Place these on your canvas like in my example.

deer- 45%. Place on the left, by the tree.
Move down to just above the tree in layers palette.

butterfly- 25%. Rotate 25 right.
Place near the flowers & cattails.
Drop shadow- 8 2 50 4, black.

butterfly2- 30%. Rotate 35 left.
Place this one near the small flower on the left.
Add the butterfly again, resizing 30% & rotate this one 25 left.
Place on the left near the flowers by the deer.
Drop shadow- 8 2 50 4, black.

Add any other elements if you prefer.

Next, add my word art from the supplies.
Place above the frame.
Add some noise-  Gaussian/ Monochrome/ 55%.
Then add a gradient glow of choice & drop shadow.

Now, crop & resize your tag to your own preference.
Then add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Now add your name. Duplicate.
On the bottom one, add a gradient glow
at these settings:
Then add HSB Noise at default settings.

Then add your drop shadow to this layer.

Finally, merge visible & save as a PNG & enjoy.

I hope you enjoy trying this tutorial.
I'd love to see your results. =)
