* Click for bigger

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP XI,
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: I'm using a PTU kit from Tasha's Playground,
named Winter Wonderland.
You can find  information about this kit on her blog here.

You can find this & more gorgeous tubes at Zindy Zone
Do not use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.

Template: AS_Xmas Template5 from Annu on the Creative Misfits blog, here

Let's do this! =)

Open up the template. Duplicate it & close original.
Delete the credit layer at the top  the snowman layer.
Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

Make a new layer above the white background layer.
Flood-fill with #cc3c41. Apply Mask 15.
Merge group. resize 105%.

Raster 2- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 3, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. Add a drop shadow.

Raster 3- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paper 5, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none.

Move square 2 below the frames in layers palette.
Then merge on to square 1.
Next, select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 8, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none.
Add a drop shadow to both the frames.

circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 1, resized 80%.
Hit delete. Select none.

For the word art, I used the manual color correction tool,
using this colour as my source- #7195ba & the target as #d44248.
Add your drop shadow. Move towards the right of the tag.

Next add your main tube. Resize as needed.
Position it in the center. Move below the word art
in layers palette. Add a drop shadow.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one I added, I sharpened & added
a drop shadow to, unless specified otherwise.

snow mound- Place under your tube. No drop shadow.

icicles- Place in the center of the tag, as I have in my example.
Move below your square & frame layers in layers palette.
No drop shadow.

branch3- 80%. Position over the circle. Duplicate.
Mirror & flip. Move this one 'out' a little to the right.
Move both to just above your circle in layers palette.

deco2- 35%. Place in top left corner of the square.

bells- 60%. Move below the deco in layers palette.

tree3-65%. Place on the left of the tag.

tree2- 55%. Place with the other tree.

deer- 40%. Move to the left of the tag.

flower dangle- 60%. Place over to the right.

beads- 70%. Duplicate. Move one below the word art
& add a drop shadow to that one.
On the top one, use your eraser to erase parts of the beads
to make it look like it's wrapped around the word art.

owl- 40%. Place on the top right corner.

scatter- 80%. No drop shadow.

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Open up paper 7. Apply mask 16. Merge group.
Paste above the red mask layer.
Resize 80%. Change the blend mode to Screen.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name. Duplicate.
On the top one, add a bevel:
On the bottom one, add a gradient glow:
Then add noise to this glowed layer-
Uniform/ Monochrome/ 50%.
Then, add a drop shadow.

Finally, delete the white background layer. Merge visible.
Save as a PNG & enjoy during the holiday season. =)
