Autumn's Kiss Tag & Extras

* Click for bigger.

I had a lot of fun & was inspired by Tasha's Autumn's Kiss
kit (which you can find more details here) that
I had another play with it & made this tag for her
& some extras for you, using the artwork of Melissa Dawn
(her artwork can be found at CDO.)

Click on each of these for bigger to save.
Please do NOT alter these in any way,
nor claim as your own.

I hope you enjoy the extras. =)

PTU- Autumn Romance

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind.
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP XI,
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: I'm using an beautiful PTU kit from
  Tasha's Playground, named Autumn's Kiss.
You can find more info where to find it here.

Tube: I'm using the gorgeous art work of
Freya Langford-Sidebottom. I had gotten this tube
at PSP Asylum when it was open, but you can now find
this & all her other amazing tubes at AIL.
Do NOT use this artwork unless you have a license to do so
& have purchased the tube.

Template: Template 141 from Punky Butts Productions.
You can find it here on her blog.
* Leave some love when snagging the temp. ;)

Glitter(s) of choice- from me here.
* These are 600 X 600 px sheets made at 300 DPI & seamless.
Also included is a set of CU styles made with these sheets. ;)

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow

Font: Breathe Pro Script

Drop shadow: 2 2 48 4, black.
Save your progress often.;)

Let's do this! =)

Open up the template. Duplicate it & close original.
Delete the 'Font used' info & credit layers at the top.

Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

left square- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper2, resized 70%.
Hit delete & select none. Duplicate. Mirror & flip.
Delete right square.

left square frame- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste a glitter sheet of choice, resized 70%.
Hit delete & select none. Duplicate. Mirror & flip.
Add a drop shadow. Delete right square frame.

large circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper4, resized 70%.
Hit delete & select none.

large circle frame- Do the same as the left square frame,
using the same glitter sheet or another of choice
(just don't resize the sheet).
Crop to canvas & add a drop shadow.

left circle- resize 80%. Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper7, resized 70%.
Hit delete. Select none. Link it as 2.

left circle frame- resize 80%.
Do the same as the other frames, resizing the sheet 70%.
Link this as 2 also. Now move these to the left so the edge
of the circle lines up with the thin rectangle. Un-link them.
Duplicate each & mirror. Add a drop shadow to the frames.

Delete both right circle & right circle frame.

left rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper8, resized 70%.
Hit delete. Keep selected. Add your closeup,
resized 70%. Hit delete. Select none. Crop to canvas.
Apply Xero- Radiance to your tube layer:
Duplicate & mirror both the paper & tube layers.

left rectangle frame- do the same as the other frames,
resizing the glitter sheet 70%. Duplicate & mirror.
Delete the right rectangle & right rectangle frame layers.
Add a drop shadow to your frames.

large rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper1, resized 75%.
Hit delete. Keep selected. Add your closeup, resizing 80%.
Hit delete & select none. Crop to canvas. Duplicate.
On the bottom one, change the blend mode to Luminance (L) at 50%.
No drop shadow. On the top one- Gaussian blur at 3.
Change the blend mode to Dodge at 35%.

large rectangle frame- same as the other frame layers.
No resizing the sheet.

Next add your main tube. Resize as needed.
Add a drop shadow.

Romance wordart- Select all- float- defloat.
Delete this layer & flood fill with a gradient:
Angle- 45/ Repeats- 3.
#d7ae42 & #df3540 for the colours.
Select none. Add a bevel:
Link to 1. Add a drop shadow to this layer.

Romance border wordart- Sharpen.
Do the same as above with the Autumn wordart &
Autumn border wordart layers. Link your flood filled layer to 1.
Move these linked word art layers slightly to the right.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one I added, I sharpened & added
a drop shadow to, unless specified otherwise.

flowers- 60%. Duplicate & resize the second one 80%.
Place these behind the word art, to the left.

squirrel- 50%
Place to the left in front of the word art.

flower1- 55%
Position in the bottom right corner.

mouse- 30%. Duplicate. Place one on the word art,
the other on the bottom right corner on the flower.

clock- 50%.
Place in the top left corner of the tag.

leaf scatter- rotate 90 right.
Move below your main tube in layers palette.

bird- 30%. Place to the left,
below the clock on small rectangle frame.

mushroom1- resize 20%. Duplicate.
Place one in front of the word art
& the other behind the flower on the right of the tag.

mushroom2- 20%. Duplicate.
Place these in front of the word art.

acorn- 25%. Duplicate for a total of 4.
Place one by the flower.
Mirror two of them. Place 2 in front of the squirrel
& the last one place in front of the word art.

basket- 45%. Mirror. Place by the flower.

leaves2- 50%. Now, for my tube, her arm isn't fully 'there',
making the artwork look 'off', so I duplicated the leaves
& mirrored it. Then duplicated again & flipped it to create
a cluster. On the top one- the flipped one- erase the stem
that overlaps on the other leaves.

apple- 40%. Place in front of the leaves cluster.
Duplicate. Rotate the duplicated one 27 left.

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.
Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next select a glitter sheet of choice for your name.
* If using a script font, you may want to set your stroke
at .05 & use the same glitter sheet for it, to ensure a nice/
even gradient glow.;)
Next, add a bevel:
Then add a gradient glow:
Now, add your drop shadow.

Merge visible, save as a PNG & enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed creating this tutorial.
I'd love to see your results.=)

Tag Showoff- HIM Tags & Other HIM Stuffs (lol)

Okay, so it's been a week or so since I've actually
posted any tutorials. BUT! I have been making tags
& a few other stuffs.

I have made some HIM tags (of course!)
for the members on my Dark Light forum &
wanted to show them off on my blog.
And I also have made some other thingies too that
a few of you might want to snag or share.

So first, I'll show off the tags.=)

This first tag I used the Heavy Metal Lover kit
from Purple's Kreationz, which can be found
in the Scrap-A-Licious store.
The images I used are copyright to Ralf Strathmann:

This next tag I used images (again) from
Ralf Strathmann & my Dark Light kit:

This last tag I made using my Sleepwalking Past Hope kit.
The images are new images of Ville Valo & unfortunately,
at this time it is still currently unknown by anyone
in the HIM 'camp' as to who the photographer is:

Now since there had been HIM news we'd
gotten just over a week ago, I've been
busy promoting, blogging, etc for these guys.
And of course to help spread the word of 'Love Metal',
I've made a couple Facebook covers.
Feel free to click these for bigger to save for your
Facebook timelines. Just please leave the watermarks on them:
This one also has a matching display pic too:

And last, I'd made a couple promo fliers.
Click for full-sized.;)

These next 2 are to help promote the release of
XX- Two Decades of Love Metal,
